If you wish for your child to use the Instant Messaging System, please complete this form and submit it. After receiving your application, we will create your account and notify you that it is read for use.

I request that my child (named above) be given access to the Montessori Student Instant Messaging System.

I understand that:

• This free service is offered by a parent of a Montessori student and is not supported by or directly related to the Norfolk Public Schools in any way.
• Accounts are only available to students attending Norfolk Montessori School.
• This service is not monitored, censored, or moderated in any way. Parents wanting logs of their child's conversations should use the logging feature of their chat software.
• The operators cannot be responsible for any content sent or received through this service.
• Students are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully. The operators reserve the right to address problems brought to their attention by means including (but not limited to) account suspension or deletion and contact with the parents of students involved.
• The operators will not release any student's information to any other party, except that student's name (in the form of their account name), their class (for the purpose of grouping students together by classroom for convenience), and any information you or they choose to disclose through the service's optional personalization features.
• Quality of services cannot be guaranteed, and while the service is expected to be stable and reliable, it should not be relied upon as the sole means of important communications.
